Ghost Cult Magazine is a music site bringing you the latest news and reviews about Rock, Metal, Punk, Hardcore, Indie and everything inbetween, from newcomers to big names. I write for them and every couple of months I will be collating my latest reviews into one, easy to click, post.
My reviews from this year include:
Audrey Horne – Blackout, the sixth album from the Norwegian classic rockers.
Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons – Age of Absurdity, The debut album from the ex Motorhead man’s new band, and yes the aforementioned Bastard Sons are actually Phil’s sons!
Voodoo Circle – Raised on Rock, the fifth album by these Whitesnake loving Germans.
The Temperance Movement – A Deeper Cut, their third, and more bluesy, offering. Fans of the Faces, Dr Feelgood, Humble Pie and Rival Sons will feel right at home.
Michael Schenker Fest – Resurrection, the guitar virtuoso formerly of UFO and The Scorpions gathered a lot of his ex band mates for his latest album.
Tax the Heat – Change Your Position, the Bristolians rather catchy second album.
A live review of The Temperance Movement, at the 02 Forum in Kentish Town.
Die So Fluid – One Bullet From Paradise, the fifth record from this alternative metal band, formerly known as 90s rockers Feline.
And the most recent one Reigning Days – Eclipse, the debut from the Royal Blood and Queens of the Stone Age influenced, Devonshire born, three piece.
