Blackberry Smoke – You Hear Georgia
Southern rock septet Blackberry Smoke released their seventh album in May, and it is a fun, catchy, and slightly cheesey love letter to their homestate. Tracks like this will leave a smile on your face a mile wide.
This, the fourth record from the Texan rockers, is a big, bruising and riffy mix of southern rock, hard rock and grunge – for fans of Black Stone Cherry, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Soundgardern.
When they are not playing mariachi music, The Bronx are making energetic, no nonsense punk with an brutal swagger and an infectious lust for life – Bronx VI ticks all these boxes and then some.
An alt rock duo from Denver, INTHEWHALE‘s first full length album is a dark, downbeat and angry album which combines a thick groove, a metallic heaviness and a downcast, 90s alternative atmosphere to great effect. It is impressively loud for two people.
